Our Leadership Team

Our leadership team handles the strategic direction and day-to-day running of the church, mentor and help others and often preach at one of our Sunday gatherings. If you get in touch with us, you’ll probably hear from one of them first.

Dan Sweetman, Senior Pastor

Dan had a varied career in television, marketing and fundraising before becoming a Pastor at Life Point in 2013. Dan is responsible for the spiritual leadership and vision of the church and is the leader of the pastoral staff. He is married to Stephanie and they have two young children. He has a Bachelor of Creative Industries and is currently completing his Masters at Bible College. Dan is passionate about people coming to Jesus, and that Christianity holds answers to our biggest questions. Also, he likes skittles, basketball and reading.

Jason Coleman, Executive Pastor

Jason was a Civil Engineer before joining the team at Life Point in 2011, and he and his wife Heidi have four kids. Jase has a Bachelor of Engineering and is currently completing his Masters at Bible College. He gets excited about people discovering the gospel and how Jesus changes every part our lives, and also loves when a good spreadsheet comes together. Jason is in charge of running Life Point the organisation, and is also Lead Pastor at Redcliffe. Jase loves sport, the cold, and wearing pluggers.

Dan Allen, Associate Pastor

Dan works at Redcliffe looking after our logistics, pastoral care and small groups, and is married to Sarah. He has worked as an ESL teacher and landscape gardener, has a Diploma of Theology and is currently completing his Bachelor of Ministry. Dan loves people like crazy, and gets excited about seeing the unfailing love of God infuse into the ordinary lives of people he encounters so that they might not just know ‘about’ God, but know God. He likes nachos, books, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Nicola Saad, Kids Church Coordinator

Nicola and her husband Andrew joined Life Point in 2015 and she works at Redcliffe looking after our Kids Church ministry.  Nicola’s life has revolved around children – she and Andrew have three teen/young adult children and she has spent years running Playgroups and teaching Religious Instruction.  She has been working as a Chaplain at Humpybong State School since completing her Bachelor of Arts in 2009 and is passionate about having fun and making God accessible to the next generation.

Beth Murphy, Office Manager

Beth recently finished her Bachelor of Ministry at Malyon College, and has a huge passion for young adults and leading in and creating spaces for people to come to know God and be intimate with him. As a pastoral intern, Beth is in charge of organising our evening gathering and community events. She is also currently our Office Manager, and keeps us organised and efficient!

Angus Fowles, Lead Pastor – Evening gathering

Angus heads up our evening congregation at Redcliffe. His day job is a maths teacher at Mueller College, and while he does like algebra, his passion is to lead and be part of a community on a journey to know and love God more each day. He is married to Jess and enjoys meals with good friends, the beach, and brushing his teeth alone while contemplating life.
